If you dont who kimbo slice is by now, you either dont own a computer and/or a tv. The Dade county brawler is known for his backyard fights that usually debut courtesy of Youtube.com. Many MMA fans and others say that Kimbo is all talk and doesnt posess the skills necessary to make it in the MMA. His fight last night against James (Glass Jaw) Thompson not only showed that Kimbo can still shake heads, but he does need to work on vital MMA skills like submissions. Tell me what you think, does Kimbo slice belong in the MMA? Or should the backyard strong man return to his habitat in the 305?

OVER-RATED...Kimbo Slice is a tough street brawler. However, he needs to train harder and develop a more solid fight game. He struggles against bottom barrel "real mma fighters" he would undoubtedly be destroyed quickly by ANY heavyweight in the UFC. Believe that. KIMBO is a C level fighter @ best. He is ready for mma but will not be ready to fight a top 10 heavy weight for @ least 18 months. I would like to see him fight Tim Silvia, Andrei Arlovski, or Jeff Monson-all fighters who have become lackluster-but would nonetheless beat the shit out of Kimbo.
Kimbo is ready for MMA, the question is.. is MMA ready for Kimbo Slice? He Choked out one MMA opponent in the first round. He's hungry, and feels like he has something to prove. Everybody he has fought has said.. "he's not ready for this sport".. and he's demolished them. I think he'll be turning you doubters into believers sooner than later...what do you do to a man who drops his gaurd so you can hit him in the face to prove how tough he is...
I feel this could be an ongoing conversation that would swing both ways. In the next year we will all get our questions answered and know if kimbo is ready for the MMA!
