Bishop Lamont Blasts DJ Vlad, Still On Aftermath
Bishop Lamont has come out to deny rumors that he’s been dropped from Dr. Dre's Aftermath Records.
Yesterday, several outlets, citing anonymous sources stated that the Southern California emcee had been dropped from the label Thursday or Friday and that Lamont never saw it coming.
During a recent video chat, Lamont clarified the situation and also called out DJ Vlad who allegedly started the rumor.
“There’s a guy named bitch ass DJ Vlad that started that rumor,” Lamont stated before adding, “I’m still on Aftermath.”
When rumors of the departure hit the Internet, some speculated that the Carson, CA native may end up on 50 Cent’s G-Unit Records. According to Lamont, he’s already putting in work with G-Unit. “I’m already down with 50,” Lamont said.
Bishop Lamont also stated that any beef that he had with The Game is squashed and didn’t rule out a future collaboration.
“There is no beef with Game. One day you may see us on a record together.”

Hip Hop, Violence In Spotlight After Fatal Shooting @ E-40 Concert
Hip Hop and rap music are once again under the gun (no pun intended) after a shooting following an E-40 concert in Colorado left one dead.
Despite extra precautions allegedly taken by Colorado Springs authorities, the culmination of E-40’s concert marred by gun fire that rang out in the parking lot of the Mr. Biggs Event Center. The victim has not been identified by name, but is reported to be a male in his early 20s.
"The crowd was significantly larger than the number of officers," Colorado Springs police spokesman Sgt. Darrin Abbink told The Gazette. "They reacted as quickly as they could."
Three months ago, five people were wounded by gun fire after an E-40 concert at a Denver nightclub. After that incident, E-40 issued a statement distancing himself from the incident.
"He (E-40) encountered nothing but love and gave nothing but love back,” the Bay area artist said via statement. “E-40 had a crowd pleasing and peaceful show ... While he certainly regrets that this incident took place, E-40 and camp are unable to control the poor and tragic choices that other adults choose to make."
In 2007, Colorado Springs authorities issued a statement linking criminal activity to ‘gangsta rap.’ “Within this genre of music, there are artists that glorify criminal behaviors with a style of music commonly called ‘Gangsta Rap,’” the statement reads. “This style of music has the tendency to attract gang members which often results in criminal activity requiring a police response.”

DJ Drama Issues Statement About Cash Money Lawsuit
Yesterday we reported that Cash Money Records was suing DJ Drama and DJ Makin' Moves about the commercialization of certain mixtapes.
DJ Drama just released the following statement:
"The accusations against me are misplaced.
This is not a case of Lil Wayne vs DJ Drama. Me and Wayne are good
I am confident that this matter will be resolved quickly without harming the relationships between myself, Wayne and Cash Money Records.
However, due to the ongoing nature of this litigation I do not wish to make any further comments."
Shit doesnt sound right to me. They showed the lawsuit papers on the video and that shit said DJ Drama. Im confused. Hmmmmmm

Our elders. They’re our infinite guiding light of wisdom & knowledge acquired from previous generations and passed on to the youth. Our elders have experienced and gone through the same adversities and achievements that us younger generations may have recently gone through, or perhaps not even come across yet.

This pocket tee is printed on all black and features a white Hawaiian quilt-esque pattern on the pocket. The back features a Hawaiian proverb which reads “Mai Pale I Ke A ‘O A Ka Makua” (in purple, teal and gray letterings) which translates to “Do Not Set Aside The Teaching Of Your Elders.” Next up is a new custom Fitted cap which features an all over print of a Hawaiian quilted pattern in heavy stitching using whites, teals and purple. According to court documents and the video at the end of this news, Lil Wayne's Cash Money Records has decided to take DJ Drama and DJ Makin Moves to court.
Pretty surprising considering Lil Wayne retracted his 'fuck mixtape DJs' claim and released a mixtape, 'Dedication 3' with DJ Drama which actually made some pretty good numbers in the Billboard charts.
